Segreti…
From Aglianico Nero grapes in purity, from volcanic soils beetween Valle del Ceraso and Fontana Marena, in the countryside of Paternopoli, from an unusual November harvest. It macerates and ferments with its own yeasts, then in the aged French oak wood for a year and a half, six months in bottle. A generous wine in its most authentic organoleptic qualities.
“For me it is impenetrable, sturdy, bold, slightly bitter acid. It can be sharp but sometimes velvety, a wine of "character" as aglianico is used to be. Years, decades… and then in a single moment, with deep awareness and ancestral instinct, you understand that such dense, red-bluish, dark fluid, with an inebriant bouquet born from an harmonious movement in vat and a slow evolution… is your wine”.
